Dr. Mariell Sabado, is an neuro-optometrist at Colorado Concussion Clinic, where she uses her knowledge about the visual system to diagnose visual issues and provide therapy for individuals recovering from traumatic brain injuries. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree at New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA where she completed clinical rotations at multiple community health centers, VA hospitals, and private practice clinics, equipping her with a broad-range of clinical skills that support comprehensive, patient-centered vision care. 

As a former athlete, Dr. Sabado brings a personal understanding of concussion symptoms and their impact on daily life and performance. This fuels her passion for identifying visual deficits and designing therapies that help patients move closer to the lifestyles they knew before their injury.
