Melissa Wolak, MS, CCC-SLP, earned her Master of Science in Communication Disorders from Western Carolina University and her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Science Disorders from the University of Georgia. With 28 years of experience, Melissa specializes in cognitive-communication rehabilitation for individuals recovering from concussion, brain injury and neuro-related challenges. Her expertise includes executive functioning, memory, attention, language, and problem-solving, paired with strategies to improve overall cognitive endurance. Melissa integrates evidence-based interventions with mindfulness, trauma-informed care, and neuroscience principles, providing an approach that supports both cognitive recovery and emotional resilience.

In her free time, Melissa enjoys early morning walks with her dog, dancing, reading, photography, and savoring good dark chocolate. She also loves skiing, hiking and spending quality time with her family in the Colorado outdoors.
